The Life and Times of Ajahn Chah

(Conference, Portola Valley 2002)

In April 2002, over 200 people gathered in Portola Valley south of San Francisco to take part in an gathering honoring the life and teachings of Ajahn Chah. Many of Ajahn Chah's earliest Western students (both monastic and lay) told stories of their days with this beloved teacher. The event was co-sponsored by Abhayagiri Monastery and the Sati Center for Buddhist Studies.
